Transition Your Outfits From Winter to Spring *3 Easy Steps*
It may still be blustery and cold outside but that doesn't mean my head is not already in warmer weather. I am so excited to transition my outfits to spring that I wanted to share with you three easy ways to do so. These three steps are so simple you can do them now and maybe trick your mind into thinking you're some place much warmer!
Currently I am wearing my sweaters much like this:
I normally pair sweaters with a scarf and some boots but moving forward to transition my outfits into spring I will be pairing them more like this:
A chunky floral necklace will bring a hint of spring but still keep me warm. The hot pink color of the sweater gives a whole new affect with a statement necklace verse the neutral browns and blacks of the scarf.
Next, cardigans have been a favorite of mine. Much like my scarves, I have been wearing neutrals and dark colors throughout the winter in my cardigan sense.
To transition into winter I thought why not add a pop of color? Instead of the dark under shirt I can switch it to a bright pop of color but it won't be overwhelming spring/summer colors yet.
Such an easy switch and bright colors make you feel so warm and fun even when the weather may not be just yet.
Finally, an idea for bottoms. Take your colored skinny jeans or jeggings that you have been wearing with boots and add a small cuff to the bottom. Pair them with a flat sneaker instead of your black or brown riding boots and the tone is taken from winter to spring with hardly any effort.
Because of adding the flat sneakers I wouldn't wear this with the current levels of snow outside, but on a sunny day with dry sidewalks why not?!
I hope these ideas will help you all get through these final weeks of winter and look forward to spring fashion! I know I am so excited to see the spring and summer trends surface!
Until Next Time, xoxo
Super surprise! I have a Youtube channel! I've been working really hard on it and any support by watching my videos is much appreciated! I was super nervous to share it with the public but I think I'm ready.
