Bath & Body Works Mini Candle Haul *Winter Edition*
I recently purchased some Bath and Body Works mini candles in their winter scents. Actually, I wrote down the ones I wanted and my parents picked them up for me while Christmas shopping but none the less, they are now in my possession and I love them! Bath and Body Works never fails to impress me with their ever changing scents and designs for the different seasons. I want to share with you what I have and why I like them so much. So, let's get started.
First up, Champagne Toast.
Can we just take a moment to admire how lovely the packaging is on this cutie little candle?! The lovely gold detail over the glass jar is stunning and makes it seem like you spent way more than $4.50 on it, actually $3, there was a sale. And I love sales! Now, the scent of this candle, lovely. It is refreshing because it has a blast of fruity essence but warm and cozy because it's followed with a woodsy whimsical touch. The description on the bottom of the candle says that it is a mix of champagne, juicy nectarine, and blackcurrant. I cannot wait to light this candle on a quiet night watching girly movies, it will be wonderful!
Sparkling Icicles.
You know that boy shower gel that just makes you want to take a big sniff and hug him? This candle is a tiny little bundle of comforting boy. As comforting as boy smell can be that is. Now, I smell "man smell" when I smell this candle but the bottom description tells me something completely different. It says something more like "sparking ice, citrus, and moss." Either way, this candle is lovely in its tiny blue glass jar and will be just darling at any point in the year.
Vanilla Snowflake.
The holiday/winter take on the classic vanilla candle. It is simple, it won't cause a stuffy nose or headache on the most vulnerable house guest to allergies and it comes in a cute little frosted jar. The vanilla does have a hint of holiday to follow it, but nothing too powerful and if you didn't do a super sniff like I have to do this post, you may not even notice it.
Leaves.
This candle right here is completely fall and winter wrapped up into a tiny, wonderful package. Words cannot describe the smell to its full potential but I can say that each time I smell this little beauty I am taken to a place of peace and family. The candle description says "...golden nectar, ripe delicious apples, and red berries." If you have only a few dollars to spend on a new candle hurry and find this one! It's not around long!
Mahogany Teakwood.
"Hey guys, welcome to Abercrombie, is there anything I can help you find?" Yep. This candle smells like a store in the mall. Its lighter of course, and doesn't hit you in the face quite as hard as the store scent. The candle bottom says it's a blend of firewood, lavender, and geranium notes. I'm not sure what that means but it smells lovely, and when I burn this candle I am positive I will want to do some online shopping to complete the feel.
Pumpkin Caramel Latte.
The only mini candle I purchased that had a tiny matching lid. This candle may be gone already because it is more of a fall line scent, but it smells fantastic non the less so I wanted to share it with you. When you smell this candle you get a hint of a golden flaky crust fresh out of the oven with pumpkin bubbling inside of it and then suddenly you get a light hint of coffee. How lovely of a smell this is on a cold wintry day when you're snuggled up with a cup of coffee all your own.
This post was lighthearted and simple to start the new year with all of my new goals for myself. I will be fulfilling my goal of posting WAY more often than I did this past year. Big things are being planned! Please hang in there with me.
Until Next Time,
