Goals for the New Year

Welcome! 
Well everyone, here goes nothing. It has been a goal of mine for quite some time to start a blog but I never knew where to begin. I don't have children growing up to post overly cute activities and photos of, and despite what I'd like to think I'm pretty generic. So what I've decided to do is share with you my generic, typical, girl life. Let's bake, shop, and go on hopeless romantic dates together. I can't wait to share with all the things I aspire to do and actually end up doing. But first off, let's get to know each other. 

I'm Jacqueline, but I've always been called Jackie. 

I'm so close to turning 20 I can taste the freedom of leaving the dreaded teen years behind me. I'm from a small town in Michigan but I have pretty BIG dreams. I attend Ferris State University and I am majoring in Early Childhood Education, although being a preschool teacher is NOT where I want to end up, in all reality, that's a whole different story. I have a Chihuahua that I spent my life savings on in 7th grade. 

 I often call her my baby and I made sure my boyfriend knew we were a package deal. Speaking of boyfriend, I have one. His name is Sal and I never thought we would end up together, but somehow things are working out just like I had dreamed of in 7th grade when I first laid eyes on him.

 I'm a family girl, and I like it that way. I stayed close to home for college so I wouldn't miss a moment of my nieces and now nephew's lives. They're everything to me. & actually I still live at home with my parents.

I have a brother and a sister and yes, you guessed it, I am the baby. 

I'm a girly-girl. I enjoy recipes, make-up, clothing, and crafts. That being said, let's get started. You'll learn more than enough about me in the coming posts I have planned.
